Tissue Paper on Watercolor Paper
This is a piece that
makes Eastridge smile.

Oil Stick, Wood, Plexiglas
This piece began as a journal entry, following the
frustration and exhaustion Eastridge experienced
from continual media coverage on gay marriage
issues. The obvious point that hate is
redeemable if it is used on those who are
"different" makes her sick and this was just one way
she decided to put her thoughts down.

The
canvases are painted with oil stick and are attached
to one another so the three hang as one.
Plexiglas is placed over each canvas over which is a
white, wooden upside down "T." The text is
handwritten on the Plexiglas with oil stick
