"West Side Market"

"West Side Market" was painted in watercolor from a photo shot at none other than Cleveland's renowned West Side Market.  The United States flags are indicative of the Market's atmosphere following September 11th.  This is one of Eastridge's favorite places to go so that she can "take in the sights and sounds of the Market."  Taste buds come alive as one passes by the rows of local vendors selling their fresh meats, pastries, and pastas.  For more information on the West Side Market, you can visit, www.westsidemarket.com

 "Mission Bells"

This bold image of the stark stucco's contrast against the azure Southwestern sky was painted in watercolor from a photo Eastridge shot at Southern Arizona's San Xavier del Bac Mission.

Greenwich Village continues to be a place that makes Eastridge's heart beat.  This painting depicts an afternoon lunch shared with her partner (whose hand is holding the glass) and the simple loveliness of fresh flowers in a cobalt vase.

"The Boys"

This was a commissioned watercolor by the mother of these three boys.  They are all shown together in the portrait, although it was painted from three separate photos, all of which were taken when each boy was a baby.  Their ages varied by several years in between and the mother wanted to capture all of them as babies in the same portrait.
